G&H PLC

brand aim

G&H (formerly Gooch & Housego) needed to rebrand, ready for expansion and acquisitions as the business transitioned to a PLC.

brand project

G&H is a global specialist in the development and manufacture of photonics, fibre optics, optical components and assemblies. Their products are used in a wide range of industries including aerospace and defence, industrial and life sciences. From a small factory, located in rural Somerset, the company has expanded through strategic acquisitions to become an industry leader in photonics technology, with manufacturing plants in the UK and North America, and support locations across the world.

brand outcome

A new brand logo and associated brand guidelines set out the vision for a cleaner, modern enterprise which reflected it’s expansion plans and helped to bring a coherent look to a range of niche businesses that formed the new group of companies.

We continue to work with G&H to deliver creative solutions for the brand.

I’ve had the privilege of working with Dora and Dan, and I’m consistently impressed by their creativity and insight. As the head of Marketing, I collaborate with them on formatting, images, and content, and they have an incredible ability to understand our brand and translate that into thoughtful, cohesive designs.

What stands out most is their proactive approach. They don’t just wait for direction—they make creative and attractive suggestions that consistently enhance our ideas.

Their professionalism, responsiveness, and attention to detail make every project a seamless experience. If you’re looking for a design team that truly becomes an extension of your own, I can’t recommend Think! Associates enough!
